How It Works

Take your photos. Ask someone to help you capture the five guided photos described below using a smartphone or digital camera.
Submit the form. Upload all five photos and tell us about any concerns. Please submit at least 48 hours before your virtual appointment so Dr. Patterson can review them.
Meet virtually. Dr. Patterson reviews your photos with you during your virtual appointment and discusses next steps.

How to Photograph Your Smile

Take your photos seated, in a room with good lighting, ideally with someone helping you. You will submit five views:

Right bite - bite on your back teeth, pull back your right cheek, photograph the right side.
Center smile - bite together and give your biggest smile, photographed straight on.
Left bite - bite together, pull back your left cheek, photograph the left side.
Upper arch - tilt your head back to capture your full upper arch.
Lower arch - tilt your chin down to capture your full lower arch.
